Customer Business Expansion Options

 

There are several options in place to allow:

-       “Multi-location” stock control

-       Multiple cost centres in General Ledger

-       “Cost Centre Link” option, to link “Class of Sale” to GL Cost Centre

 

Integrated EFTPOS

 

This module links the ProfitPak software with either PC EFTPOS software (used by Ingenico terminals) or Quest (used by Quest/Swift terminals) and through these to banks and other financial institutions for handling Eftpos and credit card payments at the sales terminals.

 

An integrated Gift Card / Store Credits module

 

Gift Cards are a growth industry. Retailers love them because it brings new customers into the store. Most gift card schemes are run via the EFTPOS system by third-party companies who thrive on the fees they charge, and the “breakage” – the portion of gift cards that is never redeemed. This is where the store owner loses out.

 

The ProfitPak Gift Card module allows the store owner to operate their own system, and retain the significant profits from “breakage”.

 

A versatile loyalty/membership module

 

This module is sold as either a loyalty system, or as a fee-based membership system that also caters for loyalty. Some options are de-activated if the client requires loyalty alone. It also contains facilities for direct mail, email and SMS to loyalty / member customers and other features such as printing and encoding membership cards.

 

If the client is using a points-based loyalty system, further facilities in the two Point of Sale modules are activated, that facilitate collection and redemption of points.

 

Customer Relationship Management

 

There are four main purposes to this module:

-       Track detailed information about prospects and customers

-       Track various “actions” and follow-up for customers and prospects

-       Direct mail, email and SMS

-       Use as a “front end” to the counter invoicing function, so that customer details are continually recorded and/or updated.

 

Maintenance Records

 

This module serves to record history of invoicing for workshop jobs – typically by serial number or registration number. It serves four purposes:

-       When there is a subsequent job, the system has a history of work that has been carried out previously

-       Checking on warranty issues

-       Follow-up for future services

-       Marketing

 

TAPI interface

 

The ProfitPak TAPI module is a Windows application that links your phone handset to your computer and uses caller ID to assist with handling incoming calls.

 

After the caller ID has been recognised, the TAPI module will prompt the end user to begin the appropriate action, based on the caller’s ProfitPak status (supplier, customer or prospect).  This may mean entering notes for the contact, creating a follow-up action in the Customer Relationship module, or generating a sales transaction.

 

This module also allows outgoing calls to be initiated directly from ProfitPak to the chosen contact, with the click of a button.

 

Integrated Online Ordering – Sales 24/7

 

This module is targeted at trade sales involving businesses and has been designed to allow for online orders to be placed directly through ProfitPak as a sales order. Your customers will be presented with a web-based ordering catalogue, categorised according to your own stock groups, with individualised pricing based on their level as set in ProfitPak.  This is a live system, meaning that stock level and pricing updates made in ProfitPak will reflect instantly in Sales 24/7.

 

Using this module you are able to set rules for how you want your web sales to operate, monitor incoming orders including payment and delivery method, monitor unfilled orders and backorders, record payment details and maintain customer information.  A truly integrated online ordering system that improves productivity and helps you to grow.

 

Note: This system is targeted at trade/commercial, wholesale and business-to-business transactions where you have an existing relationship with the customer and they have some familiarity with your stock lines.
